Kyivstar Company — leader of mobile communications in Ukraine. Company was founded in 1994. Provides mobile communication services since 1997.
2011
- Kyivstar («Киевстар») shored up its leading position as in qualitative indicators so in marketing solutions in 2011. Large-scale processes of Kyivstar («Киевстар») and Beeline-Ukraine («Beeline-Украина») fusion have produced some positive effects:
- According to the 3rd quarter results the synergy volume is worth 160 million US dollars.
- The integration of all the companies’ functions and transition to the unified system of personnel management has been completed.
- Salaries and labor conditions for all the personnel have been harmonized.
- The standardization process of service connected with
IT-systems has been accomplished. - Both subscribers of Kyivstar and former subscribers of Beeline benefit from the use of the unified product of mobile communication

- The public appraisal of the Kyivstar quality service is quarterly no less than 4.5 points of 5 maximal.
- During the first half of 2011 more than 290 base stations were put into operation.
- During the week
of May 16—22, 2011 the Lvov branch recorded the highest index of generated traffic — 1 billion of minutes. - The geography of the House Internet expanded to 130 Ukrainian towns and cities.
- The communications capacity of the fixed internet network expanded to 95 Gbps.
- Kyivstar was the first to integrate the corporative social responsibility into its business strategy. For several years the company has been one of the Ukrainian CSR standard leaders in such areas as attitude to product, state, customer, society, employees and corporative development:

- Event of the year: Kyivstar and Beeline-Ukraine started the consolidation process with the establishment of the Ukrainian business unit of VimpelCom ltd.
- In the third quarter of 2010 the consolidated Kyivstar strengthened the leading positions in the telecoms market of Ukraine and showed progress in practically all key indicators of activities.
- Provisioning of the national roaming for the customers of Beeline-Ukraine within the Kyivstar network was started.
- A new tariff plan of «25 million» for the customers of the consolidated Kyivstar was introduced.
- The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine resolved to leave without changes its decision on consolidation of assets of Telenor ASA and Altimo Holdings&Investment Ltd in a new telecoms operator, namely: the VimpelCom ltd.
- In collaboration with Telesense, the first in Ukraine music right control system was introduced, which enables the access to the freshest musical products for the Kyivstar consumers.
- On Kyivstar’s initiative, a «white internet list» was developed for the first time in Ukraine, namely" the list of sites safe for children.
- The Kyivstar signed the Code of Mobile Marketing being at the same time one of its authors. The Code declares the standards of behavior of the market competitors when promoting services via the telecoms networks.
- Provisioning of the «Home Internet» service, that is the access to broadband Internet by the FTTB technique was started.
- Ukrtelecom and Kyivstar signed an agreement on bilateral national roaming.
