• How to activate the “International calls” service?

  The service is provided automatically to all Kyivstar customers. It doesn’t need an extra activation.

• How do we charge calls?

  For the 1st and 2nd tariff zones, the fee for the full package is charged immediately at the first second of the outgoing call abroad. Non-charged minutes are accrued. The volume of package depends on the country tariff zone.

  • 20 minutes for the 1st tariff zone: Vatican, Germany, Georgia (only Beeline numbers), Israel, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, Canary Islands, Poland, Russia, USA, Uzbekistan, France, Czech Republic.
  • 5 minutes for the 2nd tariff zone: Great Britain, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, India, Ireland, Iceland, Cyprus, China (PRC), Liechtenstein, Moldova, Norway, Portugal (including Madeira island), Romania, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, Vietnam.

  Minutes are valid till 11:59:59 PM of the connection day. The unused minutes will be canceled.

• How many times per day a customer can order the package?

  Depending on the direction of call forwarding, maximum 50 packages of 20 min or 5 min per day can be accrued. If you use the 1st package and continue calling, the next package of minutes will be provided and charged automatically.

  If you use all the provided packages till the end of the day, a minute of conversation will cost 5 UAH.

• Are there any numbers not covered by the service?

  Tariffs will not apply when calling to the following numbering capacities in

  Austria, Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Barbados, Belgium, Benin, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burkina Faso, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, Jimbuti, Estonia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Italy, Cyprus, Ivory Coast, Latvia, Liberia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Mali, Morocco, Monaco, Niger, Palestine, Poland, Russia, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Somalia, Sierra Leone, Tunisia, Tajikistan, France, Chad, Montenegro, Switzerland and Jamaica.

  The cost of calls for these directions is 20 UAH/min.

  Please, note. For subscribers of the "Unlim Social Nets", "Unlim Messengers", "Unlim Video", "Maximum Unlim 2019", "Maximum Unlim 300", "Maximum Unlim 400", "Maximum Unlim 500" and the packages "Call Home" when calling to The indicated number capacities of Italy, Poland and Russia are valid according to the terms of the tariff plan or service.

• If prepaid customer have not enough money to get a package in his balance

  In case you have not enough money in your balance to pay for the package, calls are charged per minute. One minute costs 5 UAH.

  • charging with a payment per minute is enabled automatically (a call is not being interrupted);
  • you will receive an SMS about the activation;
  • the plan is valid by the end of the day (until 23:59:59 Kiev time);
  • the cost of the first second of every minute of a conversation equals the specified cost of a minute. The cost of all subsequent seconds of the specified minute within the conversation is included in the cost of such a first second of conversation.
  • if the amount in your account is enough neither for per-package nor for per-minute charging, the services are not provided. After you top up your account, it will be applied per package first.
  • if you call the 1st tariff zone number paying each minute, then top up your account and call the 2nd tariff zone number, the 2nd tariff zone call will be charged per package. Meanwhile, your calls to the 1st tariff zone countries will still be charged per minute till the end of the day.

• Are these tariffs apply to all customers?

  Yes, tariffs are applied by default to all prepaid and postpaid customers, if other services/packages for calls abroad are not connected to the number.

  International calls to certain destinations are charged according to the terms of the tariff plan for such users:

  • If you are a prepaid customer: Unlim Social Nets, Unlim Messengers, Unlim Video, Maximum Unlim 2019, Maximum Unlim 300, Maximum Unlim 400, Maximum Unlim 500, Professional, World in touch, Communication Unlim, Fun Unlim, Video Unlim, Maximum Unlim, Give More!, Tasty Unlim.
  • If you are a postpaid customer: Smart, Kyivstar Family, Smart+, Smart Max, Smart Business, Smart Business+, Simple, Smart Premium, Kyivstar Family 2018, Kyivstar 4G, Kyivstar 4G Extra, Kyivstar 4G Ultra, Kyivstar 4G Business, Kyivstar 4G Simple+, Kyivstar 4G Business Premium, Kyivstar 4G Business VIP.

  Connection fee when calling abroad – 0 UAH.

  The fee for the package of the non-charged minutes is taking off from the first second of the outgoing call. The cost of the first second of every minute of a conversation equals the specified cost of a minute. The cost of all subsequent seconds of the specified minute within the conversation is included in the cost of such a first second of conversation.

• How to save on international calls?

• How much does it cost to send an SMS abroad from Ukraine?

  The cost of sending a text message to international numbers depends on which tariff plan you're on.

• How much does it cost to call to a satellite phone?

  For satellite operators and operators providing telecommunication services while roaming on sea and air transport, regardless of the network host, fixed rate will apply:

   

  • Outgoing calls – 100.00 UAH/min
  • SMS – 15,00 UAH/SMS
