Number suspension/Reactivation

The service will be useful in case of phone loss or theft. You can reactivate the number if you have found the phone or have restored the SIM-card. If you restore the SIM-card, your number will be automatically reactivated.

How to use the service

  1. Request it in “My Kyivstar” self-service system by yourself.
  • Sign in to “My Kyivstar”.
  • Choose the “Services” and apply with the request that you need. Suspension request is processed during 30 minutes. You can request the number reactivation in the same section.
  1. Call 477 or 0800300466 (calls are free within Ukraine from all phones).
  2. Visit one of Kyivstar stores.

 

Data you need to suspend or reactivate the number

1. When visiting one of the Kyivstar stores:

  • password (only to reactivate);

or

  • original carrier with PIN-, PUK-codes;

or one combination from the following list:

  • three phone numbers you called, approximate date and time of communication with them and the balance amount left on your account;
  • three phone numbers you called, approximate date and time of communication with them and one of the last money transfers including the date, amount and number to which you transferred the money;
  • any of account replenishment cards/electronic codes and balance left on your account;
  • any of account replenishment cards/electronic codes and one of the last money transfers including the date, amount and number to which you transferred the money;
  • IMEI of mobile phone and balance left on your account;
  • IMEI of mobile phone and one of the last money transfers including the date, amount and number to which you transferred the money.
 

2. When calling the contact center:

  • password (only to reactivate);

or

  • PUK1 code;

or one combination from the following list:

  • three phone numbers you called, approximate date and time of communication with them and the balance amount left on your account;
  • three phone numbers you called, approximate date and time of communication with them and one of the last money transfers including the date, amount and number to which you transferred the money;
  • any of account replenishment cards/electronic codes and balance left on your account;
  • any of account replenishment cards/electronic codes and one of the last money transfers including the date, amount and number to which you transferred the money;

This service allows temporary closing a number at a term up to six months with a possibility of the number reactivation initiated by the customer.

At that your number is reliably kept for you.

The subscription fee is charged according to the conditions of the tariff plan and additional services. The fee will not be charged only in case if by the first day of the month number is not in service any more (there is no possibility to make calls) and it has been in such a status till the last day of the month inclusive.

How to use the service

To file an application for the service cessation it is enough to:

  • contact Kyivstar Customers Service Centre and file the appropriate application;
  • apply individually in the My Kyivstar self-service system;
  • call 477 and apply following prompting of the autoinformant;
  • contact the Directory and Inquiry Service by the number 0 800 300 466 (calls are free from all phones within Ukraine).

The application for the number cessation can be processed on any day of the current month or starting from the first day of the next month.

The period during which the application for temporary service rendering suspension is processed depends on the desired date of the service suspension. If you want the number to be temporary suspended:

  • starting from the next month, your application will be fulfilled on the last day of the month proceeding the number deactivation month (from 10:00 pm till 00:00 am);
  • starting from the date of application submission, the application will be fulfilled during 30 minutes;
  • starting from any further date of the current month, the application will be fulfilled during the period from 00:00 am till 01:00 am of the selected date.

The application for the number reactivation after the cessation is processed within 30 minutes for the voice tariff plans and within 24 hours for the non-voice ones.

CCC

To temporarily close/reactivate the number after cessation, you only have to contact the Customers Service Centre and file the appropriate application.

For the application to be executed, it is necessary to have a Passport of the citizen of Ukraine with a registration note or an interim identity card issued by the MIA authorities in case of theft or loss of the national passport of Ukraine.

The number reactivation is possible irrespective of the account status; but functioning of the activated services requires a sufficient amount available on the account.

477 number

It is enough to call 477 from the number to be temporarily closed/reactivated after cessation. Following the prompts of the Auto Informant, file the pplication for cessation/reactivation. If an application is filed on the last day of the month, it will be processed till the end of the day.

Applications for cessation are received up to 11:00 pm of the last day of the month.

Number reactivation is possible irrespective of the account status; but functioning of the activated services requires a sufficient amount available on the account.

 

Directory and Inquiry Service

It is enough for the authorised coordinator to contact the company’s contact-center at 0 800 300 466 (calls are free from all phones within Ukraine), indicate his/her password and the phone number to be temporarily closed (reactivated).

The number reactivation is possible irrespective of the account status; but functioning of the activated services requires a sufficient amount available on the account.

At night, from 1:00 am till 3:00 am, applications for connecting/disconnecting are not executed.

 

My Kyivstar

To file an application for temporary suspension of rendering the services, it is enough:

  • To enter My Kyivstar system at address www.my.kyivstar.ua.
  • To choose “Services and promotions” section and to file an appropriate application.

The application for temporary number closing is processed within 30 minutes.
