  • Number Validity Period

    The validity period of Kyivstar prepaid connection service (except for the numbers served within the following tariff plans: Relax 2010, Super Tourist, I am by the Sea) is 365 days starting from the moment of:

    • recent activity: outgoing SMS or MMS, mobile internet session, any successful incoming or outgoing call
    • account replenishment for any sum by any means except Credit Transfer service;

    The validity period of connection service for the subscribers’ numbers the services provision for which has been temporary suspended due to their violation of services conditions provision and obtainment, is 90 days starting from the blocking moment.

    Upon the number validity period termination Kyivstar has the right to use the corresponding phone numbers for new start packages.

  • Number Renovation

    To renew a number which has been blocked due to its validity period termination, top up your account with any sum and the validity will be automatically extended for 365 days.

    Please note. You must top up your account within 30 days after its expiry. Otherwise, the number will be canceled without a renewal option. The account can be replenished by any means except Credit transfer service.

  • How to Get the Information about your Tariff Plan?

    There are some ways:

  • Mobile internet

    Technical peculiarities of Kyivstar billing system allow prepaid subscribers avoiding debts due to costs or bonuses reservation to get paid services when the internet session begins.

    The reserved costs are shown on account but the subscribers can’t use them.

    The costs or megabytes are reserved separately for each session from main or bonus account as follows:

    • by 40 MB from the provided volume within internet bundle according to plan or activated bundle terms (for Kyivstar Sensor and XXL plans — 1 MB);
    • in the absence of this volume – the costs reservation will be equal to internet bundle price according to rate plan or activated service terms;

    When the internet session is over the actually used megabytes volume will be charged.

    If the provided internet bundle volume:

    • isn’t exhausted – the reserved costs might be used;
    • is exhausted – the reserved costs will be charged.

    If the internet session is over but the cost reservation keeps open, reboot your phone to stop it.

    Please note. Some mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, etc.) on their own without informing you can update downloaded software or games as well as transmit the data on a paying basis or send SMS to paid numbers. We kindly advise you to read your mobile device User Manual in advance as well to check your software and games settings to avoid any further misunderstandings and additional expenses.

    The safe use of megabytes volume, which is provided for the access to mobile internet, is possible when the subscriber has at least 0,01 UAH on his main or bonus account.

  • Other
    • Connection fee for calls to the numbers starting from 0800 or +380800 is 0 UAH.
    • Forwarded calls are charged as outcoming calls depending on their direction. The cost of the first second of every minute of a conversation equals the specified cost of a minute. The cost of all subsequent seconds of the specified minute within the conversation is included in the cost of such a first second of conversation.
    • Kyivstar prepaid service limits the maximal call duration to 4200 seconds ±5%.
    • The maximal personal account balance of a Kyivstar prepaid connection subscriber cannot exceed 8000 UAH.
    • One SMS can contain till 160 symbols in latin or till 70 symbols in cyrillic.

    Tariff rates are indicated in UAH, including VAT. The Pension Fund fee in the amount of 7.5 % of the service cost is additionally charged excluding VAT if other is not stipulated by the service or tariff plan conditions.

  • Number Validity Period

    The number validity period is unlimited, but the provider has the right to terminate services provision if the subscriber doesn’t use connection services at this phone number more than 60 days. If you need to suspend the number service temporary for the period up to 6 months with the possibility of its subsequent service renew, take advantage of Temporary Number Disconnection/Subsequent Number Connection service.

  • Number Renovation

    To renew a number which has been blocked due to its validity period termination, please take advantage of Number Renovation service.

We kindly advise you to read your mobile device User Manual in advance as well to check your software and games settings to avoid any further misunderstandings and additional expenses.

    The safe use of megabytes volume, which is provided for the access to mobile internet, is possible when the subscriber has at least 0,01 UAH on his main or bonus account.

  • Other
    • Connection fee for calls to the numbers starting from 0800 or +380800 is 0 UAH.
    • The maximal call duration for contract subscribers — 7200 seconds ±5%.
    • One SMS can contain till 160 symbols in latin or till 70 symbols in cyrillic.

    Please note. If the costs in the subscribers’ account are over, the provision of mobile services will be suspended. To resume the provision of services, please top up your account: the balance after replenishment must be more than 10 UAH, unless otherwise provided by the terms of service. To fulfill requests for tariff change communication services on the number must be activated.

    • For the following tariff plans: Unlimited VIP and Absolute Unlimited the calls are charged per second starting from the first second of conversation.
    • Forwarded calls are charged as outcoming calls depending on their direction. The cost of the first second of every minute of a conversation equals the specified cost of a minute. The cost of all subsequent seconds of the specified minute within the conversation is included in the cost of such a first second of conversation.
