Using the Tracker service you will be able to get the information about the Kyivstar subscribers’ location are if they confirm permission to control their location.

- Possibility to control employees working outside the office will help to optimize a working process and monitor their actions.

Service Possibilities
Upon creation of a “subscribers- family members” list within the Tracker service, the following possibilities are available for users:
- You can determine the location of subscribers — “family members” obtaining information in the form of:
- SMS-message including the text information regarding the city, street, metro station (if available) WAP-link to view the map (WAP-link is valid for 2 days);
- MMS-messages including 3 (three) fragments of the map in different scale, (maximum volume of the MMS-message — 1 Mb)
- WAP / WEB pages with information concerned, the “Head of the family” can determine his location by analogy with the determination of “family members” location. In this case, it is not necessary to add his number to the list of family members.
- You can change the list of “family members”: remove the previously added and add new subscribers. In this case, only the customer, who has created the list, will be informed about the customer’s removal by SMS-notification.
The existing “family member” can, if necessary, get out of the “family” list and prohibit determining his location.The location determination possibility which has been previously permitted for the customer will be deactivated.
The average location accuracy makes up about 500 m. The accuracy depends on the density of base stations location and can be different for urban or suburban areas, ranging from 300 to 1200 m. There will be the following picture of customer’s location on the map (green sector):
* To set up these functions and the required for them GPRS technology, please, call 477 (calls from the Kyivstar network numbers are free of charge) and select corresponding items of automatic menu.
Also user can activate the subscription fee for the Tracker service and, receiving free requests on account of subscription fee reduce his costs for the service use:
Subscribers are offered 120 free of charge requests monthly on account of monthly subscription fee in the amount of 15.94 UAH including all taxes.
Usage Instructions
To use the Tracker service first of all the customer should carry on the following actions:
- To create the list of “family members” that is the list of relatives, friends and close people, whose location the customer wishes to determine. Please, note: It is impossible to determine the location of customer whose number is not indicated in the list of “family members”.
- When creating the list of “family members”:
- dial the customer’s phone number in the following formats: : 380ХХХХХХХХХ; 0ХХХХХХХХХ; ХХХХХХХХХ.
- specify their names, which should be unique for each family member.
- Maximum number of “family members” for the Tracker service cannot exceed 10.
- To obtain permittion from the “family members” to determine their location.
- The customer whose number is added into the list of family members (regardless of the channel of service use) receives an SMS-notification where the phone number of the “family head” — requesting customer — is specified. For example: “Abonent 380671234567 khoche vyznachyty vashe mіstseznahodzhennya. Nadіshlіt SMS na number 5147 protyagom 15 xv. z textom TAK (dozvolyty postіyno), NI (ne dozvolyty) (Subscriber 380671234567 wants to determine your location. Send SMS-message to 5147 phone number within 15 min. with the text YES (if you give a permanent permit), NO (if you do not give a permit)”, where 380671234567 is the customer’s mobile phone number, who is the “head of the family” which has sent you a permission request to determine the “family member” location.
- In reply to the request from the the “family member”customer phone number send the SMS-message to 5147 within 15 minutes or use the “Reply” function and send the SMS-message with the following text:
- “YES” — to permit the location determination
- “NO” — to cancel the location determination
- Request for location determination permit is cancelled in the following cases:
- if the customer whose location should be determined, does not give a permit to do it;
- if the customer, who has received a request for the location determination permission does not answer it more than 15 minutes after receiving the SMS-request.
- if the customer has cancelled to determine his location, it is impossible to determine the location of the customer to whom the cancellation was addressed (i.e, there is an “interlock”).
- in above cases the customer who requested information about the family member location will receive the following SMS-message: “Abonent 380671234567 ne otvetil na vash zapros na protyazhenii 15 min. (The customer 380671234567 did not reply to your request within 15 min.)”
- If the customer whose number was added into the list of your “family members” (by SMS, USSD, WAP or WEB) replied “NO” to the initial request for permit to determine his location, then if you try again to obtain permit to determine the customer’s location, the request will not be sent. In this case, customer, who is the “head of the family”, should delete the phone number from the “family members” list and add it again to have a possibility to send a request for permit to determine the location to the potential “family member”.
- Service usage
- To use the service via SMS-messages, send the SMS-message with required text variant to the short number 5147.
- PLEASE NOTE: Both Latin and Cyrillic letters should not be mixed in one SMS-message. Case (small or capital letters) of the keywords writing in SMS-message is not of importance.

- To use the service via the WEB-interface, the customer should enter the Internet page login.kyivstar.ua, register and open the section “Info and services” / “Tracker”.
The following actions are available for the user via the WEB-interface:
- To add / remove of family members from the list, setting of the following parameters for each family member: name, number, area of family member usual location (e.g, school, studies, walk, home), photos uploading (tab “Family”).
- To send the permission request to determine the location of the family member (tab “Family” / link “Request for permit” next to the “family member” name).
- To send SMS-message to the “family member” or some “family members” (tab “Family” / link “Send SMS”).
- To determine the family member’ or some family members’ location on the map (menu “Map” / “Selection of the family member”).
- To receive the information about all family members list (menu “Family” / “Family members list”).
- To review the family member location on (“Location clock”: allows you quickly to see where the family member is at the moment (at home, school etc.).
- To create the notification in case if the family member leaves a specified area or enters it (menu “Notification” / “Set new notification”).
- To view the list of set notifications (menu “Notification”).
- To track the location of the family member for an hour (tracking period can be set by yourself from 1 hour to 1 month), i.e. possibility to receive notifications to mobile phone or e-mail for a selected period of tracking if the family member appeared in a certain area or went out of it.

Tracker Service Tariffication
Receiving the information about a family member location:
- via WEB — UAH 2,00
- by SMS — UAH 2,00
- by MMS — UAH 2,00
A family member tracking via WEB during 1 hour (if the family member enters or leaves a specific area) — UAH 2,00. Charging by hour.
Successful addition or deleting of the family member from the family, receiving the list of all subscribers who are in your list, getting a notification if the family member enters or leaves a specific area:
- via WEB access — free of charge;
- by SMS and USSD requests — 2,00 UAH.
MS delivery via the WEB version of the service — UAH 0,10.
Notification delivery to the e-mail — 2,00 UAH.
Please, note: Call 477*78* to activate the subscription fee charging (for Kyivstar contract subscribers — 15 UAH/month)which includes 120 free requests per month*. Their cost is included into the subscription fee for the service.
* - requests shall be valid by the end of the calendar month when they were accrued.
All the tariffs are indicated in UAH incl. VAT. The Pension Fund fee in the amount of 7.5 % of the service cost is additionally charged excluding VAT.
Free Requests Usage:
- The accrued free of charge requests are used for any request under the terms of paid services.
- When using a request at the cost of 0 UAH, the accrued free requests are not used.
- Unused requests are canceled according to their validity term.
- All requests that exceed the limit provided free of charge will be charged for service tariff rates for each individual request.

Connection
To use the Tracker service it is necessary to have a mobile phone and be activated in the Kyivstar networkYou do not need to connect the Tracker service additionally, it is available to all Kyivstar subscribers by default.
The special connection is necessary only if the customer wants to activate the subscription fee service use.
- The application for the subscription fee activation charging is performed within one day.
- Once application is executed the user will be informed via SMS-notification.
- The application for the activation / deactivation of the service with the subscription fee can be submitted until 20:00 of the last day of the month.
- The application for deactivation of the service with the subscription fee is performed at the last day of the month.
Upon deactivation of the service with the subscription fee, the subscribers can repeatedly submit the application for service activation only from the 1st day of the next calendar month.
