Illia Babych
Lead radio planning engineer. Joined Kyivstar on September 6, 2022. He was involved in radio planning for the Sumy, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions. He always found unconventional solutions in difficult situations and knew how to turn issues into advantages, easily taking on any task. He was always positive and open-hearted, enjoyed skateboarding and traveling, and got along easily with people.
In January 2023, Illia joined the military and received training in the United Kingdom. He was awarded the Golden Cross, an honorary badge from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In March, he was transferred to the 72nd Mechanized Brigade as a drone pilot. He was killed in the Donetsk region by an enemy drone.

Maksym Hohol
Revenue control and assurance specialist at the company. He started his career as a Kyivstar Customer support specialist. Later, he worked as a Credit control specialist, and since 2018, as a Revenue control and assurance specialist.
Maksym considered it his duty to serve his country. At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, he moved his family to a relatively safe place and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in March 2022. He was killed defending Ukraine in a battle near the city of Bakhmut.

Serhii Iemelianov
NOC Mobile Engineer. Serhii was 37 years old when he joined Kyivstar in 2008. He was a calm, tranquil, and responsive person who took his job responsibilities seriously. Serhii continued to work even during the occupation...
He died during the tragic events in Bucha.
Serhii is survived by his wife and young daughter, who has a disability. Fortunately, they managed to escape from hell: they left Bucha in early March and are now abroad.

Kostiantyn Lysenko
Information and communication technology engineer at Kyivstar.Tech. He joined the company in September 2023 and was responsible for supporting the internal IT network. Kostiantyn was a man with a big heart and a great sense of humor, always the first to come to the rescue, sincerely caring for others and inspiring those around him.
In May 2024, Kostiantyn was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a private. He was later promoted to second lieutenant and took up the position of deputy commander of the strike UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) company of the unmanned systems battalion. Kostiantyn died on April 12, 2025, near Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, on a combat mission.

Anatolii Berezhnyi
HelpDesk specialist and system administrator at Uklon. He joined the company in May 2021. As a colleague, he was always ready to help with any problem at any time and could find solutions that were not obvious at first glance. He was a very friendly and cheerful person, interested in everything new, and loved to travel.
Anatolii was born in Severodonetsk, Luhansk region, and in the fall of 2020, he and his wife moved to Irpin. At the beginning of the full-scale war, he took his wife to the west of the country, along with 15 other people. He returned and participated in the evacuation of Irpin residents. On March 6, 2022, he was helping a local woman with children get to the evacuation buses. Together with them, 26-year-old Anatolii was killed by enemy mortar fire.

Oleksandr Hudenko
Oleksandr joined the team of Contact Center in Cherkasy in May 2016, starting as a first-line support expert at Brain Source International. In November 2019, he was hired by Kyivstar PJSC and worked in the customer service department in electronic channels No. 2, chat section, until his last day. It was at work that Sasha met his future wife. He was a kind, sincere, cheerful, sociable friend who was always easy and warm to be around
In February 2023, Oleksandr was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a communications officer. While performing a combat mission, he was wounded in the legs, underwent rehabilitation, and returned to service. Oleksandr died on December 3, 2025, when an enemy drone struck the vehicle in which he was traveling with his comrades while performing a combat mission. He is survived by his wife Marina and their daughter, who was born in March 2024

Yehor Kukliev
Information Support Specialist at Uklon. Yehor had been working at the company since the fall of 2021. He proved himself to be a kind and responsible person. His Information Support team has only warm memories of him.
With the start of the full-scale war, Yehor joined the Mriya Volunteer Territorial Defence Battalion. He died on March 20, 2022, as a result of Russian shelling of the Retroville shopping centre in the Podilsky district of Kyiv, near which Ukrainian defenders were stationed at the time.

Denys Halopa
React Native Developer at Kyivstar.Tech. Denys Halopa worked in the team as a talented and strong developer, easily found common ground with colleagues, and enjoyed the sincere respect of the team. He was kind, open, always smiling and humorous, knew how to support others and remain cheerful even in the most difficult moments.
Since August 2025, Denis had been serving in the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a pilot of unmanned aerial vehicles. He died while performing a combat mission, defending Ukraine. Denis faced all trials with courage, calmness, and inner strength. He is survived by his wife and 6-year-old son.
